Logistics
Importing paper is not difficult, but it is unforgiving. A wrong HS code, a missing certificate or a container booked one sailing late turns a good price into a bad month. This is how we run it.
Terms we trade on
FOB, CFR, CIF, DAP
Most United States buyers take CIF to port of discharge. Gulf buyers more often take DAP to the plant. Both are routine for us.
Full and part container
Full container load for single grades, consolidated part loads where a buyer needs several grades in smaller volume.
LC and TT
Irrevocable letter of credit at sight for new accounts, telegraphic transfer against documents for established ones.
What ships with every order
Mill certificate
Grade, grammage, brightness, moisture and reel numbers as tested at the mill.
Chain of custody
FSC Mix or PEFC documentation where the grade carries certification.
Packing list and bill of lading
Prepared for the destination, with HS classification checked before the vessel sails.
Certificate of origin
Attested where the destination country requires it, including Gulf consular requirements.
Indicative lead times
| Route | Ex stock | Indent from mill |
|---|---|---|
| To United States east coast | 7 to 14 days | 45 to 65 days |
| To United States west coast | 10 to 18 days | 50 to 70 days |
| To Gulf ports | 5 to 12 days | 35 to 55 days |
Lead times are quoted per order against live vessel schedules and current mill position.
